- What videotape formats do you convert to DVD?

- How long does the conversion (transfer) process take?
- Most orders ship within 7 - 14 business days! Orders greater than 10 may take longer to process. If you purchase DataDVD's or you have copyrighted material to transfer the process also may take longer. Please see our terms of service for more information. Please note that business days do not include weekends.
- Is it safe?
- At AMB, we take seriously the task of handling and perserving your precious memories. For this reason we've taken several steps to ensure a safe transaction.
- Order Tracking - With our order tracking system you'll be notified within 24 hours of your orders arrival at our facilities. You'll also receive periodic e-mail updates or you may login via our website anytime to check your order's current status. More Info >
- Safe Labeling - New to AMB is our safe label. When your order arrives our technicians will unbox, clean, count, and then label each tape just to be sure we know its yours.
- Return Shipping - With our relationship with FedEx, we ensure safe shipment of your order back to you. Most orders are shipped via FedEx and include insurance and tracking. Orders less than 3 tapes may occasionally be shipped Priority Mail with tracking provided as well.
- How much does it cost?
- We beleive preserving your memories should be affordable.
We offer flat-rate pricing per tape, transfers range from $6.95 - $8.95 per tape. This pricing is the same whether the tape is 20 minutes or even 6 hours. - How much do you charge for shipping?
- At AMB shipping is made simple. We charge a flat rate of $8.50 for shipping for any orders, any size, any time. We ship orders of 3 or more through FedEx ground and we'll always send you a shipping confirmation with tracking information. Orders less than 3 occasionally are shipped US Postal Service.
- Will AMB transfer my foreign or PAL tape formats?
- Regrettably AMB does not accept PAL formatted tapes. We only handle NTSC (USA) formatted tapes at this time.
- What is the difference between a VHS and a VHS-C?
- VHS-C tapes are smaller tapes about 2" x 3" used in camcorders, while VHS tapes are the full sized tapes, about 4" x 7".

- How do I send my tapes?
- Simply gather your tapes, order form or receipt, place them inside a box and ship them to our facilities:

You can chose to send your tapes to AMB through the carrier of your choice. Most people send their tape through the United States Postal Service. If you would like to track you package, you can use FedEx, UPS, or DHL. AMB Media Services always sends you an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours of when your tapes arrive.
- Will I get my tapes back?
- Yes, we always return your videotapes along with your DVDs.
- Will the DVDs play in my DVD player?
- We transfer your videos into high quality DVDs ensuring that almost all DVD players can play the DVDs we produce.
- What form of payment do you accept?
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Customers can also pay with an exclosed check or money order.
- Are there any hidden fees?
- There are no hidden fees at AMB Media Services. Period.
- Can you make my videos look better?
- AMB Media Services uses video restoration technology to ensure broadcast quality transfers.
- How many tapes can I send in at one time?
- How many tapes can fit into a box? AMB Media Services can handle media services orders from one to one thousand.
- Do you convert copyrighted material?
- Yes, AMB can still transfer a copyrighted tape as long as you sign our copyright waiver. Place your order and then place this agreement inside your package along with your video material and mail your package to our address. AMB Media Services copyright agreement states that the VHS tape is copyrighted but you only plan on using it for your own personal use. You agree that you will not sell or distribute it illegally. Please ensure that you sign this agreement, and once we receive it, we'll file it away, and make sure to transfer your tape accordingly.
